My first Hoka! Been waiting for this.
5 Stars

This is my first Hoka shoe I ever bought, I'm used of wearing zero drop and low stack shoes, so I was happy when I saw this bad boy. I was a bit worried about the width but within a few k it felt already ran in and super comfortable. I've already put about 150k on the shoes, through technical and slippery terrain (also up Bartle Frere in QLD), no blisters, the shoe runs great wet and is not falling apart already (happened before with some other shoes). It's a great shoe if a massive stack height is not your thing but still want some moderate cushioning. The lugs work well, because they're not crazy aggressive they dont get worn down quick. I tried on the speedgoat before and it felt lots narrower for me, speed instinct is my go to trail shoe nowadays.
