This is my third pair of Stinsons, and while they still have the great cushioned ride, they are a little disappointing compared to my other two pairs. The cut seems a little different, they don't feel quite the same as my previous pairs. Also, they no longer have the quick laces which I really liked. Overall, still a great shoe though, and hopefully I will get used to them.
Despite all my efforts I am one of these mature late onset runner whose BMI is too high . Does not bother me so much as fitness primes on fatness but I need good cushioning for my running shoes as I am regularly tackling 21 kms races and I am actively preparing fro my first ever marathon at nearly 56 years of age ! In that context HOKA Stinson 3 are perfect for me with a noticeable improvement from my previous pair of" simple" Stinson . Happy Runner ...
Decided to purchase Hoka Stinsons due to Osteo problems with knees. Decided on the Stinson 3 and im extremely happy with the cushioning and impact resistance for knees. When I first viewed the shoes i thought they may be heavy but they are extremely light. Hoka's from no on!
This is my second pair of Hoka Stinsons. Changed to them (Stinson Lite) when I was suffering from Plantar in both feet. Since I changed my feet have been much better. No need to use orthotics anymore. The Stinson 3 has improved noticeably in the toe box and the tongue. My feet seem to sit a lot better in the shoe with better comfort on top of the foot. My feet don't tend to slide around in the shoe as they did before in the Stinson Lite.
My second set of stinsons, for a bloke with dicky knee's and sore hips these shoe's have kept me running. With out the cushioning i would of had to retire from doing the one thing i enjoy the most, running with friends. thanks Hoka
