After wearing Cliftons for the last three years I made the leap to Vanquish after a recommendation from a friend. I've been alternating between the Vanquish and the Clifton now for a few weeks and find that the Vanquish is a great fit and feels more soft under feet (although that could be due to the Cliftons being close to 1,000km of running :-). If you have been running on Cliftons and thinking of switching then I'd say give it a go, the sizes are the same and feel great.
I've now been running with Hoka Vanquish 3 shoes for the last month or so, covering about 50km per week. I'm a 100+kg guy who tends to need shoes with a fair amount of support. The Vanquish 3 have thus far been brilliant. A good level of support, excellent ride, and light weight. I do coastal hill runs on firm paths and these have been outstanding for this type of running. Definitely a good choice for heavier runner doing some decent distances.
