Rincon Barbados Cherry
5 Stars

I am new to Hoka One One running shoes. I had seen the Carbon X reviewed and bought a pair on spec. because I'd wanted to try a pair of Hokas for quite some time. Frankly, they also weren't one of those drab black/school shoe colours that most running shoe companies seem to think that men desire. I liked them straightaway but they are very stiff and possibly best for flat race pace tempos. So almost immediately, I started to check out some other reviews and came across one for the Rincon. They sounded just what I needed, so I grabbed a pair of these as well! They are lovely runners; very light weight, but extremely comfortable and well cushioned. I really like the way they feel on my feet, especially at training pace. So far I've only put around 40+ kilometres into them, but I really couldn't be happier. I also like the Carbon X, but as a trainer, the Rincon feel (not surprisingly) a better proposition.

I found the new Rincon very lightweight, with a nice spring on take-off and super comfortable. I've only had them for a short time but done a couple of 5 km, a 10 km and a 21.1 km and love them. No problems foot wise, I could run all day in them. Out of the different hokas I've had I put these at the top of my list.
