I'm coming to the Hoka X-carbon from using several versions of the Bondis and found a very similar fit and feel to my Bondi 5. This is a neutral shoe fitting true to size if you're used to Bondi and Clifton sizing. Very similar cushioning to the Bondi 5 with differences being noticeably lighter and an extra bounce but that's may be the new shoe effect over my 500k old Bondi 5. The upper if stretchy so no problem with hot spots after a 15k run. There is no rubber on the outsole so I'd imagine grip in the wet is not its best attribute. I plan to use this as my race day shoe for marathons whilst using the Bondi to clock up the training runs.
